Midual engine is one of the cornerstones of customization. Its proprietary architecture has undergone extremely sophisticated styling work, where the beauty of the forms is considered just as essential as mechanical performance.
Every boss, every engraving, every blending of one line into another is crafted with absolute precision.
The surface finishes offer a wide range of possibilities:
- textured sandblasted finishes,
- for two-tone or single-tone engines,
- Intaglio engravings that can be filled with an infinite variety of colors.
These options allow for the creation of subtle harmonies with the upholstery, the monocoque, or the polished elements, resulting in perfectly coordinated custom motorcycles.
THE MONOCOQUE: THE HEART OF MIDUAL CUSTOMIZATION
The central element of every Midual, the self-supporting monocoque combines the functions of frame, fuel tank, and bodywork into a single piece. This mechanical “grand complication” is also the first choice for customization for the future owner.
Whether sandblasted metal, lacquered, brushed, or polished with a patina, the monocoque’s finish defines the motorcycle’s identity. But this choice is only a starting point. A sandblasted shell can be paired with light, dark, or colored leather. A polished shell can feature hand-painted stripes, engine-turned panels, engravings, or partial lacquer finishes.
The monocoque thus becomes a true mechanical sculpture, shaped according to the owner’s tastes to create a truly custom-made motorcycle.

The instrument panel, for example, is a Midual signature. Mounted on suspension to protect the instrumentation, it tilts to provide access to the airbox, revealing an interior as meticulously crafted as the exterior.
Its frame, embedded in the fairing, is either sandblasted with a textured finish or polished.
Adorning the frame and encasing the instrumentation, the set of left and right trim pieces can be leather-wrapped, made of aluminum, varnished or lacquered wood, in matching or contrasting colors.
Surface treatments, engravings, anodizing, upholstery, hand-brushed or painted trim, engine-turning, and leather protectors all contribute to the creation of a custom motorcycle with perfect stylistic unity.

Quintessence, a special edition produced in very limited numbers, highlights the extent of the hand-polishing and finishing work. Every solid aluminum part is beautifully showcased, revealing the material and the motorcycle’s sculptural silhouette.
The Type 1 Series 3, which is not a special edition, benefits from this refreshed aesthetic: a fully-machined single seat cowl, full LED lighting, hand-painted pinstripes, and magnified polished finishes. A two-seater version is available, true to Midual’s philosophy of bespoke design.
“Française!”, the 2026 special edition, has reinvented the motorcycle’s front end in café racer style with a polished aluminum half fairing and clip-on handlebars for a new riding experience. A tribute to French industrial craftsmanship, it features sky-blue knee grips enhanced by a tricolor suede leather trim reminiscent of the French flag.
